Swarovski NL PURE 12x42 Binocular Burnt Orange

The Swarovski NL Pure 12x42 Binoculars Burnt Orange offers the same optics and construction as the green version but with burnt orange armoring. They have the widest field of view of any top level 12x42 binocular, with 339' at 1000 yards. There are many 10x42 binoculars with narrower fields of view, including the EL Swarovision Pro 10x42. 12x42 binoculars are notoriously difficult to keep steady, so the ergonomics were a prime concern in the NL 12x42 design. The rubber armored body is designed with slimmer, more contoured tubes to get your hands to the perfect position for extended viewing comfort and stability. The NLs have all of the Swarovision lens and coating features of the ELs. Close focus is 8.5' and it takes less than 2 full turns of the focus wheel to get there from infinity. Light transmission is 91% from end to end. The NL Pure's eye relief is 18mm, and field flattener lenses in the eyepiece assembly provide a virtually distortion-free view. The strap and lens coverings attach in the same manner as the EL Pro models, but the case is newly designed to make access easier. Also included with each NL Pure binocular is Swarovski's Universal Comfort Strap, a microfiber cloth, and a soap and brush kit for cleaning the rubber armor! Of course, the NL Pure binoculars are waterproof and nitrogen purged to be fogproof. There is an interesting optional accessory available for the NL: a forehead rest that can help steady your hold of the binocular. It is especially useful for eyeglass wearers or those using this 12x42 model.
